So, I think I’ve mentioned Goozex here before (www. Goozex.com) If not, I am now.
It’s a video game trading site. It’s an alternative to going to Game Stop and getting pennies on your old games. You basically pay for the right to make trades. And then each game has a point value. Most games more than two years old are 250 points are less, but the nice thing is that even the most ridiculous old PC games, GBA games, or even Game Boy color games will get you a minimum of 100 pts. Today I collected more than 4600 points trading a total of 16 Nintendo 64 cartridges and 2 old PC games that worked on Windows 95.
I can use those points to get Arkham Asylum on Xbox for 600 pts, Halo Reach or Call of Duty MW3 for 1000 pts, and other games. Or, I can request 40 “older games for the DS, PC, Wii or Xbox that will at least get more play time than my old copy of Madden 2001 for PC.
And best of all, when I am done with the games, I can go back and retrade them for basically the same number of points I got the game (obviously, newer games depreciate some over time. But Portal 2 still commands 1000 pts).
Anyway, you might want to check it out. It’s That Other Page endorsed.
